Žáci se seznamují s tématy vhodnými pro jednotlivé ročníky různými formami výuky - drama, role-play, prezentace, dopis, essay aj.
Requirements needed to pass lessons in English Conversation.
- Presentation projects.
This is the main requirement for grades 6 to 9. Grade 6 students must prepare and present 2 projects; The first entitled 'did you know' (approx 5 minutes) and the second entitled 'personal presentation' (approx 15 minutes).
Students from grades 7 to 9 must prepare and present one project on any theme. The presentation must be interactive, didactic and use a variety of presentation techniques.
Students from grades 6 to 9 must write 2 essays per semester. The level of writing must match that of the Cambridge exams for the following grades: Grade 6 – KET, grades 7 and 8 – PET, grade 9 – FCE.
- Individual talks.
This is the main requirement for grade 5. Grade 5 students must talk individually for one minute about 14 different topics once per topic throughout the school year. Students are graded on fluency rather than grammar. Students from grades 6 to 9 must talk individually (for between 90 seconds and three minutes depending on the grade) about 14 topics 3 times throughout the school year. For grades 6 to 9, the topics are chosen by the students the first time and thereafter they are chosen randomly.
- Drama scenes.
Students from all grades from grade 5 to 9 must devise, prepare and perform short drama scenes (between one and five minutes depending on the grade). Students must do this at least 4 times per school year.
- Pair conversations.
Students from grades 6 to 9 must devise, prepare and perform short interviews or conversations in pairs on a variety of topics. Students must do this at least twice a year.
